In my personal opinion, i believe that given your situation you did the morally right thing to do. You gave up 9 months of your fast living high school life to basically be a care giver to yourself. As you hadn’t been expecting this spawn of life, it was probably a pretty tough and thought after situation you had to grasp. However i saw that you had help. Not only from your family but from your friends and lover. Instead of aborting the life you created, you found adoption. It was the best decision to find a couple who couldn’t have a baby, and let them adopt yours for many reasons. One of those reasons is that you are helping a family fulfill there dream, which if I were you id feel very happy about that. Also given how i live as a teenager and how many teenagers live, the life that we choose to live is just not fit for a baby to be in the picture. We want to explore and spend, both time and money on ourselves and places. A child would have a much better childhood with parents that can afford to make it happen, and a teenager is just not ideal but is very very possible. Pondering your decision brought me to two conclusions about you as a person. You have a great heart that is full of love and also that you want what is best, not only for yourself but for others as well.
To keep or not to keep. That is the question mothers across the world ask themselves when they find them selves pregnant without the intention of getting pregnant in the first place. In my personal opinion the mothers decision is the only decision. There should be no dispute over the topic. Its the females body, i would suggest to support whatever the female wants to do. If a woman decides to keep a baby unwanted by the father and the father decides to leave her or if the father isn’t even in the equation, thats where child support comes in. If she decides to abort it then so be it. If she decides to give it up for adoption thats her decision. As you can see there are plenty of options available for every outcome of an unwanted pregnancy. And even if it seems like you are in the deepest shit ever in life when you find out, by all means should you stay calm because there is always help. There is always help, and thats what i learned from this story of Juno.
